The group consist out of Kiara (phoenix), Oozora Subaru (duck), Pavolia Reine (peafowl), Nanashi Mumei (owl) and Takane Lui (hawk). Only Subaru is not canonically a bird but she became one because of a joke about her sounding like Donald Duck and fans gaslighting her. The unit is special for including a member from each international branch, having a strong theme, a great combination of voices and having great chemistry together. At some point after a lot of effort they got recognized by Hololive and became an official unit. A rare act for Hololive, most units are created by the agency instead of the members. Being recognized meant they would get support and resources for their projects. Sadly the support they were promised never materialized to the disappointment of the members. Mumei's graduation was the end of Holotori. With Mumei leaving they lost the motivation to continue and they haven't done anything together since.
